Inside Mounting For blackout cellular shades, the minimum window frame depth should be 2 inches. The blackout width should be 1/2 inch less than the window width. For blinds, ensure the window length is 2 inches less than the shade length.

Outside Mounting When mounting mini blinds externally, ensure they are 4 inches wider and longer than the window width and length to achieve optimal coverage.
